Information for Presenters

Oral Presentations

The full program is posted online. Please review the agenda and note when and where your presentation is scheduled. The Agenda-at-a-Glance is also available for a broad outline.

A dedicated laptop will be assigned to each Breakout room for presentations -- no need to bring your own. We'll try to have all slides queued up to give as much time as possible to speakers. Presenters are encouraged to email their slides early to, or bring them on a USB drive and we'll load them onsite (preferably in advance of the session). Conference staff from ADAI and NWATTC will be available all day Thursday, Oct 13 at the registration desk on the 3rd floor to answer questions and load slides for Breakout sessions.

All the laptops used will be Windows machines with Microsoft Office and Powerpoint. If you prepared your slides on a Mac, that should be fine as long as it is in Powepoint. Internet will be available in meeting rooms, but presentations should not be dependent on internet connectivity (which can be unreliable when you're standing in front of 60 people!) The best test for such a scenario is to do a dry run of a presentation when disconnected from the internet. Please bring a copy of your presentation on a USB drive as a back-up, even if you send it in advance.

Breakout Sessions are 75 minutes long for as many as 5 individual presentations and 10-15 minutes for Q&A at the end. Please keep to the time allotted for your presentation! Moderators will be on hand for panels of individual presentations to help with time keeping and Q&A
